The Summer Event is designed similarly to the Winter Event – with a fresh, sunny theme. Here are the key points to remember:

• Collect summer coins: Gather these as you play throughout the event. The event building (summer market) at your train station is one of the main sources for gathering summer coins. Here’s how the summer-themed coin looks:

• Purchase summer resources: Use the summer coins you collect to buy necessary resources. The new resources are: seagulls, cocktails, surfboards, sunglasses and ice cream.

• Reveal fields on the board: Use the summer resources to uncover fields on the event board as you aim to reach the bonus ticket at the end:

• Collect diamonds: Bonus tickets reward you with diamonds, which are important for ranking and rewards. The diamonds are similar to the Winter Event:

• Earn rewards: Apart from diamonds, you can win various other exciting rewards.
• Earn career points: At the end of the event, those with the most diamonds will earn additional career points.

Event mechanics

• Balanced quests: Quests are adjusted to be appropriate for different eras, ensuring fair competition within each game world.
• Only one game world counts: If you play on multiple game worlds, only your best result from that one game world will count towards career points and the event building level.
• Era-adjusted bonus engine: The attributes of the event bonus engine adjust to the era in which it is won.
• Summer resources: These are exclusive to the Summer Event and not related to regular in-game goods.
• Gold and quests: While some quests require Gold, active participation in the event will usually provide enough Gold to complete them.
• Cool-down period: The long cool-down for the summer market ensures fairness between hardcore and casual players.

Post-event details

• Disappearing summer market: After the event, the summer market building will disappear from your train station and may reappear in future events, retaining its level.
• Bonus engine duration: The bonus engine will stay with you until the end of the game world.

• Plan moves: Strategise your moves on the event board to efficiently reach the bonus tickets.
• Monitor rankings: Keep an eye on the diamond ranking to stay motivated and competitive. You can check the diamond ranking at any time during the event, which is calculated based on the percentage of the best players in your game world.
• Unlocking the bonus ticket multiple times is highly beneficial, especially because the number of diamonds you collect will directly impact the career points you earn at the end of the event. The bonus ticket doesn’t just contain diamonds, but also one of the following prizes: free lottery tickets, Gold, summer coins, additional diamonds, the Plus Account, the new event bonus engine, the special event Gold or summer coin rush.
