Are you not quite ready to let go of that summer feeling? Good news — Perfect Paradise is sailing back into Rail Nation, bringing the sunshine, the crystal-clear waters, and the tropical island rivalry right back to your screen.
Perfect Paradise returns as a Rail Nation event scenario set across isolated Caribbean islands, where every region faces identical geographical conditions and every island has a fair shot at victory, starting 6 October. Team play remains at the heart of it all — you’re not just building your city, you’re playing for your entire island. The 2026 edition also brings a refreshed feature set with some major gameplay changes.

A New Factory Share System Replaces Majority Associations
The classic factory-majority fight is gone. Instead, Perfect Paradise 2026 introduces the Industry Shares system. Rather than one association fighting for exclusive control of a factory, multiple associations can now acquire Industry Shares for the same factory level and all benefit from that industry at once. Shares apply to individual factory levels, so an association can unlock shares for the current level as the factory develops. This opens industries up to every association on the island, instead of just the strongest one.

No Classic Endgame: The Race Ends After Era 6
This time, Perfect Paradise removes the traditional Endgame. Instead, the round concludes after Era 6, and the highest-level city wins the game world. Every decision throughout the round counts directly toward the final result — competitions, city projects, and all other core mechanics stay active right up until the end, so there’s no coasting into a separate endgame phase.
Because there’s no traditional endgame, a few related mechanics have been adjusted to fit:
- Hometown changes are limited to once per Era.
- Era 7 engines become available through the lottery and for purchase from the middle of Era 6, rather than at the start of Era 7.
Other Gameplay Changes
A few additional adjustments round out the 2026 edition:
- New achievements are available across personal, association, and hometown categories, giving you fresh goals to chase throughout the round.
- Worker auctions get a refresh: Prestige Workers won’t be available, and which workers appear in the pool will now be random.
- Player Prestige now counts toward the region ranking, giving individual performance more weight in how your island stacks up.
- Rail Pass is active on all game worlds.
- Pollux Catch-Up: for the first time on Perfect Paradise, you can buy missed Pollux upgrades for gold so you’re never permanently locked out.
