Features and improvements
RN-8541 – PREREGISTER: Chairs and deputies can now choose the city for the next game round and preregister other members directly! (This is only valid on game worlds that start after the update is rolled out.)
- Chairs and deputies have the option to preregister their whole association (unless a member has already preregistered themselves) in one city, so long as the city is not overcrowded.
- No slots can be reserved anymore, as all players are directly preregistered.
- Players can only change the city if the new city is not overcrowded. They can only change back to their team’s city if the city is not overcrowded.
- Players who do not want to play in the next game round can cancel their preregistration or they can simply not log in to the new round.
RN-12119 – CITY PROJECT: Magnus has been added as a random reward for donors towards the city project.
How does this work?
- A reward is hidden behind one gate.
- When the gate containing the hidden reward is unlocked and the number of points required is defined, a random point will be selected, where the reward will be hidden.
- The player who donates the point behind which the reward is hidden receives the reward.
- If the selected gate or point is not reached within one level, no reward will be given.
- The reward is the Magnus bonus engine for 24 hours (1x speed), 12 hours (2x speed) or 6 hours (4x speed).
- If you already own the Magnus, the duration will be extended.
- A pop-up message will inform you when you have won the hidden reward.
Example: gate 2 has a hidden reward. As soon as gate 2 is unlocked, we know how many points are required; let’s say 150 points. A random point between 1 and 150 is selected. For this example, it’s 98. Whoever donates the 98th point will get the reward, regardless of whether they donate 1 point from 97 to 98, 10 points from 90 to 100 or even all 150 points in one go.
This explanation is simply to show you how it works, you will not be able to see when or where you can get the hidden and random Magnus reward, until you actually win it.
Available on new starting game worlds only.
RN-12121 – CITY PROJECT: A new reward has been added to the city project. The new bonus reduces the consumption of required goods in a city by X%. The new bonus will only be available if the city has not yet reached the maximum level of an era. Additionally, a tool-tip has been added to explain the city consumption by showing the calculation values. The consumption overview shows the city project bonus. On Steam over Europe, the overview also includes the reduction bonus selected by the mayor and/or president.
This bonus can make it easier to level up a city!
The bonus is called LOWER CONSUMPTION and can have the following values:
10%
20%
30%
Possible duration:
Default: 6h, 2x speed: 3h, 4x speed: 2h
Default: 12h, 2x speed: 6h, 4x speed: 4h
Default: 24h, 2x speed: 12h, 4x speed: 8h
Available on new starting game worlds only.
RN-14585 – CITY PROJECT: Information has been added to the city project overview on the maximum duration a Magnus reward can have at any given time. The Magnus reward can only have a maximum duration of 2 weeks. This means that if your Magnus reward currently has a duration of 2 weeks, you can no longer win further durations for Magnus via the city project until the duration is less then 2 weeks. It will still be possible to get Magnus via the power bonus, even if you already have a duration of 2 weeks.
RN-2774 – CAREER ACHIEVEMENT: In-game notifications have been added for completed career achievements. There will also be an option to deactivate this pop-up if you do not want to see it.
RN-14803 – CAREER ENGINE: The explanation for the era limits has been adjusted to be more comprehensive.
RN-9941 – POWER BONUS: The competition power bonus effect has been reduced to only count for prestige and money, and only for 50%. Available on new starting game worlds only.
RN-9199 – WORKERS: The limit has been adjusted for extending the time of workers and to avoid having more than one worker of the same type. Workers of the same type will now always be extended. If the workers are of the same type but from different eras, the one from the later era will be used and extended by the remaining time of the already owned worker from the previous era.
For example: an association has a worker for -20% building time (era 1) with 4h time left and wins another worker for -25% building time (era 2) with a duration of 24h = the association will get the -25% building time (era 2) worker with a total duration of 28h.
If the worker still has 24h or more time remaining, it will not be possible to bid.
Available on new starting game worlds only.
RN-12094 – WORKERS: To prevent worker personalities from still being active during endgames, there will be no worker auctions available anymore 48h before endgame starts.
Other: preparations for multiple events.
Bug fixes
RN-2329 – ASSOCIATION: WORKER: Fixed an issue where workers would not be active immediately after hiring, even if the tile and icons were already visible. We told them to stop showing up late for work.
RN-9476 – ASSOCIATION: WORKER: Fixed an issue where the tool-tip for some workers was outdated.
RN-6143 – CAREER ENGINE: Fixed an issue where the career engine would not respect the speed limit of an era. This was also responsible for teleporting trains, which should not happen anymore – if you do notice this issue happening again, please report it to our Customer Support.
RN-11407 – CHARGEBACK: Fixed an issue where the rounding to 2 decimal places for the sum was missing as well as the number format was wrong.
RN-13587 – CITY: Fixed an issue where hovering over the chaining icon with your mouse could cause the game to freeze.
RN-12517 – CITY COMPETITION: Fixed an issue where hovering over a money tile with your mouse would freeze the game.
RN- 13215 – CITY PROJECT: Fixed an issue where hovering over a city project icon with your mouse could cause the game to freeze.
The chaining icon, city project icon and the money tile have been told to be like Elsa, and let it go.
RN-13940 – CITY PROJECT: Fixed an issue where the city project was disabled / no new gate was generated after a city levelled up.
RN-12450 – CITY PROJECT: Fixed an issue where the ranking for donations was wrong for players who had donated the same amount. Available on new starting game worlds only.
RN-12515 – CITY PROJECT: Fixed an issue where the time for Magnus was not displayed in the description.
RN-13591 – CITY PROJECT: Fixed an issue where an icon would falsely display +10% industry time instead of -10%.
RN-14865 – CITY PROJECT: Fixed an issue where the pop-up text when hovering over a city project tile was not working as intended.
RN-13095 – CITY PROJECT/POWER BONUS: Fixed an issue where the duration of Magnus was not extended. Nobody likes to work overtime, but Magnus now knows his place and will do as he is told.
RN-12362 – CRASH: Fixed an issue where the game world could crash if a deleted avatar had not been deleted completely within a specific timeframe. That was quite a mike-drop when leaving!
RN-10421 – COMPETITION: Fixed an issue where sometimes 10 Gold would be deducted when joining a competition that had already started.
RN-1989 – DAILY: The daily counter reset was adjusted so it would no longer reset before the actual day of the game world changed. This means that video and login bonus counters should no longer break after downtimes.
RN-16222 – GOODS: Fixed an issue where transportable goods for trains were displayed double.
RN-16904 – MESSENGER: Fixed an issue where some messages were displayed without a name or avatar. No more hiding, folks!
RN-11404 – POWER BONUS: Fixed an issue where the 25% more profit power bonus would display an incorrect amount of earnings. We gave the power bonus some urgently needed maths lessons.
RN-8141 – POWER BONUS: Fixed an issue where the in-game message about the competition power bonus and the competition worker gave the wrong information.
RN-9442 – POWER BONUS: Fixed an issue where it was not possible to draw the last power bonus card. Removing all the superglue from that card was super hard. Available on new starting game worlds only.
RN-13027 – SALE: Fixed an issue where the store window would remain empty after clicking on a sale tile.
RN-12150 – SCHEDULE ASSISTANT: Fixed an issue where the turnovers were displayed incorrectly during rail maintenance. This was another candidate who was forced to take some maths lessons.
RN-10795 – SHOP: Fixed an issue where a personal offer was not displayed when clicking on the offer.
RN- 11384 – TRAIN: Fixed an issue where the instant dispatch would not work as intended.
RN-16213 – TRAIN DETAILS: Fixed an issue where the train name would be displayed as 0 instead of the actual name when buying your first train. Additionally, we fixed an issue where not all the goods a train can transport were shown.
RN-10726 – WORKER: Fixed an issue where the worker for cheaper waggons would display an incorrect calculation when purchasing missing waggons. Like we said… maths lessons.
RN-11713 – WORKER AND BOOST: Fixed an issue where the acceleration bonuses were not working as intended, giving wrong or no boosts. This was also responsible for teleporting trains, which should not happen anymore – if you do notice this issue happening again, please report it to our Customer Support.
